- Depth Profile. Typical range: 12-20 cm (5"-8"): The amplitude of the wave sets the maximum depth. Deeper profiles push the low-frequency planning limit down somewhat but require more material and space.
- Wavelength. Typical range: 20-60 cm (8"-24"): Spatial wavelength (distance between ripple peaks) affects frequency targeting, as a planning estimate. Shorter spatial wavelengths tend toward higher acoustic frequencies; longer ones toward lower frequencies.
- Visual Style. Profile options: Sinusoidal, compound, custom curves: Standard sinusoidal waves offer clean, predictable aesthetics. Compound waves (multiple frequencies combined) create more complex visual patterns.
